Quantum Prophecy

In the book Quantam Prophecy there are super-humans living and protecting the human race. There was a big battle with the super-humans and the bad guys.  Suddenly after that battle, all the super-humans disappeared or at least it seemed so. In fact, they had not disappeared but went back to their regular lives since all their power's were taken. The main story is based on two boys who are best friends. They are super-humans don't realize what they are. Danny is son of Quantum, who was really fast and could unwillingly see the future. Colin is son of Energy and Titan. Titan was super strong, could fly and was fast. Energy could absorb any energy and redirect it.  The sides of good and evil are not as easy to identify in this book, but I think that Colin and Danny's parents were good prior to the war.

Although the "bad guys" in the book do shady things, it would seem like they do it for the best. They had to abduct Danny to take his powers away. Quantum's prophecy said that Danny would start a war that could be the end of the world. They didn't want billions of people to die because they couldn't do anything. So they built a machine that could take away all super-humans powers.

The "good guys" of course stopped the machine that could take their powers. That could have been the thing the "bad guys" needed to stop the prophesied war.  That is why the good guys and the bad guys aren't good or bad at all they only mean the best for the world.  In fact depending on whether you trust the good or bad guys really develops your perspective of who is good or bad.  Thats why it is hard to side with one or the other.  The author leaves it up to the reader to decide, which I thought was pretty cool.  Normally the bad guys and the good guys are clearly established.  This is not the case in this book.  

Over all this book was good. It had a lot of action, a lot of suspense, and a lot of surprises. This book was a little confusing because of all the characters but was good. I am happy I don't have so much responsibility, but think it would be cool to live in a world where people have special powers.  I think being super humanly fast could only help me on the soccer field and in sports.  That would be awesome.
