In this book the new settlers get to this new planet called Lusitania where they meet the alien species, the Pequeninos. The settlers are not aloud to tell the "Piggies" anything about the planet earth. That does not stop the humans from barging in and interrogating the Piggies. The humans are very abrasive and would kill all of the piggies if the Piggies did snooping. The Piggies are in sense treated like cattle that can talk. They are sent to separate fields in the planet.
Also humans are way less primitive than the piggies. In fact the Piggies don't really have technology like the humans do. The Piggies are in the stages that the cave men were when they first started their civilization. Even though the are just starting out we interfere when we should not. The Piggies are being enslaved for knowledge for their race.This is a lot like how the Europeans treated the Native Americans in the new world.They felt that the Native's were very primitive and weren't as advanced as the Europeans were.
This holds many thoughts and ideas in it that are very confusing. Like why are humans so hostile to the Piggies. They have no reason for humans to hate them.This is like how the Europeans were very greedy and wanted more land even if they needed to kill to get it. A lot of the time they did kill the Native American. Humans should give some power to the pigs rather than hold it all for ourselves. It's unfair for the piggies to know nothing about humans and humans know everything about them
Great job! I think you used very strong evidence to prove your point that humans have an unfair role in the book. I also think that you used very strong vocabulary which made your evidence seem more... true. I'm not exactly sure. But once again, great job!
