Athena and Arachne

Athena is the goddess of wisdom and war. In the tale with Arachne she seems like a child. Arachne is a very skilled girl in her craft. She weaves the coincidence is she gets turned into a spider by Athena. Athena was challenged by Arachne to weave and was transformed because Arachne's weave made fun of the gods.

Athena was very irrational. She was angry only for a few pokes at her family. Athena can't take a joke. She turned a woman into a spider because she was making fun what a cruel woman. I think she should just calm down

In the end Athena is still the goddess of wisdom but she could've handled this situation better rather than turning her into a spider. If it were me i would've gotten angry but i wouldn't turn anyone into a spider. This tale though is one of my favorites.
