In the book the Hobbit, it takes place in a magical land filled with magic creatures. There are dwarves, orks, giants, and hobbits. In this book the hobbit Bilbo Baggins is going on an adventure with Gandalf and countless dwarves. The dwarves mission is to take back the mountain ruled by a dragon, Bilbo's goal is to have an adventure and survive.
Bilbo is a very stout and short man. He is very shy and doesn't like to travel. But something "tookish" (which was his ancestors name who traveled) always wins him over and makes him do crazy things. Like embarking on this journey was crazy especially for a hobbit.
Bilbo is like the regular hobbit because he is very nervous around new people. Also he does not like to embark on a journeys. He does not like to have people at his house. Also he does not like to cause trouble.
In conclusion, the book so far was great. I love the poems that are in the book. The storys plot is good and it is funny. There are things that make me smile like when Bilbo gets mad and when Gandalf using magic.
