Spider-Man is personally my favorite comic book character. Who wouldn't want to swing from webs and hang on walls. In the books he was a scrawny kid who got beat up all the time, but did the movies serve him justice. The first Spider-Man movie was released in 2002 with fans excited but it was disappointing.
In the spider man comics Peter Parker the protagonist was a scrawny high school kid who loves science. Then he gets bit by a spider which gave him super strength, speed, and he could climb up walls and shoot webs. In the movies though he was buffer and not scrawny just short. That is why the movie disappointed me.
In the end it would have been better if they chose another actor for the spider man role. Although the movie did follow the book and its storyline which was good it didn't have the same effect that the Peter Parker in the comics did.
